Face to face with a great white shark…this is not for the faint hearted!
On this Tour you will actually be in the Ocean, face to face with the apex predator of our seas. The day starts early morning with a drive to our Shark Cage Diving capital, Gansbaai near Hermanus. Along the way you’ll see some beautiful scenery, mountain passes, farmland, quaint coastal villages and diverse flora. After Kruger National Park the great white sharks attract some of the highest number of tourist to South Africa for any singular activity. After a brief do’s and don’ts meeting and something to eat, we head out into the Atlantic to do some great white shark cage diving, witness the sharks in their natural habitat.
Wetsuits, goggles, towels and snacks will be supplied on board, all you have to bring is your swimming gear and camera. At an extra cost you could also buy a DVD from the videographer of the day. When all are back on mother earth, we will have a quick lunch while watching the DVD of your trip out to sea. On our way back to your accommodation there are opportunities to visit an African penguin colony, wine tasting, or just enjoy the coastal drive back.
